AI Image Generator
An AI image generator is a tool that creates a finished picture from a text description in seconds. You write what you want to see and the model paints it from scratch — no photographer, no designer, no stock libraries. Twin AI puts several such models in one window: generate from text, edit an uploaded photo and compare models side by side. Free to start, no subscription lock-in.
What is an AI image generator
An AI image generator (text-to-image tool) is a model trained on millions of text-and-picture pairs. It reads a natural-language prompt and synthesizes a new image pixel by pixel rather than fetching one from a database. That is why the result is unique — the picture never existed before.
In Twin AI generation starts with a single line: open /create/photo, describe the scene — “a ginger cat astronaut in a helmet against a nebula, cinematic light” — and get 4–6 variants in 10–30 seconds. The same composer also accepts an uploaded photo as a reference when you want to edit an existing image instead of drawing from scratch.
What an image generator can do
Modern models moved far beyond “draw me something.” In one Twin AI window you get several modes at once:
- Text-to-image — a picture from scratch based on a prompt in English or Russian
- Image editing (image-edit) — swap background, outfit or objects on an uploaded photo while keeping the likeness
- Text inside images — captions, logos, covers and memes with readable type
- Upscaling and detailing — increase resolution to 2K–4K without mush
- Stylization — turn a photo into anime, a 3D figure, watercolor or cyberpunk
- Infographics and banners — product cards, social previews, slide visuals
Which models are inside Twin AI
The key difference between Twin AI and single-model apps is several models in one window — no switching between sites. For image generation the strongest picks are:
- Nano Banana Pro — the most accurate image-edit: keeps a face or object from one photo, swaps background and style cleanly
- Flux 2 Pro — photorealism: natural skin, realistic light and depth for portraits and product shots
- GPT Image 2 — follows the prompt precisely and renders up to 4K: complex scenes, specific settings
- Ideogram 3 — best for text in the frame: names, prices and captions rendered cleanly
- Recraft V3 — vector, icons and logos; Seedream / Seedance — a warm cinematic palette for art
How to generate an image in a minute
Step 1. Open /create/photo and pick the text-to-image mode.
Step 2. Describe the picture as specifically as possible: subject, style, light, angle, mood. The more detailed the prompt, the closer the result — “a minimalist coffee-shop logo, brown-and-beige palette, flat vector on a white background.”
Step 3. Pick a model for the job: Flux 2 Pro for photorealism, Ideogram 3 when you need text, GPT Image 2 for a complex 4K scene.
Step 4. Get 4–6 variants. Refine the one you like with a follow-up prompt — change details while keeping the composition.
Step 5. Download in the size you need. Want to compare models on one prompt? Turn on compare mode and see the results side by side.
How to write a good prompt
About 70% of an image’s quality comes from the prompt. A few rules that noticeably improve the result:
- State subject + action + environment + style: “a woman drinking coffee by a window, morning light, film photography”
- Add camera and light cues: “soft diffused light,” “macro shot,” “wide angle” — the model understands them
- Name the style explicitly: watercolor, 3D render, isometric, neon, minimalism — otherwise you get an average look
- Trim the unwanted via a negative prompt: “no text, no extra hands, no distortion”
- Generate 4–6 variants and pick the best — it is cheaper than chasing one “perfect” prompt
Formats, aspect ratios and resolution
Different platforms need different frame proportions, and the generator sets them right in the prompt. No manual cropping — the model draws for the target format from the start:
- 16:9 — YouTube thumbnails, banners, presentation slides and desktop backgrounds
- 1:1 — avatars, feed posts, icons and card previews
- 9:16 and 3:4 — stories, Reels and vertical product cards for marketplaces
- 4:3 — the classic editorial format for articles and collages
- 2K resolution is enough for social media, 4K (GPT Image 2) for print and large banners
How much image generation costs
One Nano Banana Pro generation = 100 credits ≈ $0.30. A batch of 10–15 images in different styles runs about 1000–1500 credits ≈ $3–$4.50. Free credits on sign-up are enough to test several models before you pay. A subscription from ~$6/month gives 1500 credits every month — exact tiers are on /pricing.
Unlike Midjourney (which needs Discord) or direct Nano Banana access through Google, Twin AI runs in the browser with no extra setup and lets you compare engines in one place. You pay only for what you generate, and credits are shared across every model, so trying a second engine on the same prompt does not mean a second subscription.
Where generated images are used
An image generator covers dozens of jobs that used to need a designer, a photographer or a stock license. Because generation takes seconds and costs cents, teams use it for fast iteration — drafting several concepts before committing to one:
- Product cards and infographics for marketplaces — see /use-cases/marketplaces
- Avatars and business portraits — /use-cases/avatar and /use-cases/linkedin-photo
- Covers and illustrations for presentations — /use-cases/presentation
- Social media content, YouTube thumbnails, ad banners
- Concept art, article illustrations and design mockups
FAQ
Can I generate images for free?
Yes. Signing up for Twin AI gives you free credits — enough to generate several images and test different models before paying. After that you can continue on a subscription from ~$6/month or top up credits one-off.
Which model is best at text-to-image?
There is no universal winner — it depends on the task. Flux 2 Pro and GPT Image 2 are stronger at photorealism and complex scenes, Ideogram 3 renders text in the frame best, and Nano Banana Pro is unbeatable for editing an existing photo. In Twin AI they are all in one window, so you can compare results on the same prompt.
Does the generator understand prompts in different languages?
Yes. Twin AI handles prompts in both English and Russian, and the interface is available in both. For very complex scenes English is sometimes slightly more precise, but for most tasks either language works.
What resolution do the images come in?
Models output up to 2K (Nano Banana Pro, Flux 2 Pro) and up to 4K (GPT Image 2). That is enough for social media, print and product cards. If needed, an image can be enlarged further with upscaling.
Can I use generated images commercially?
Yes, images created in Twin AI can be used for product cards, ads, social media and other commercial tasks. For sensitive niches, make sure the image does not reproduce protected brands or the faces of real people without consent.
How is this different from generating from a photo?
Text-to-image creates a picture from scratch based on a description, while photo generation (image-edit) takes your shot as a base and changes it — background, style, outfit. In Twin AI it is the same /create/photo composer: with a reference it edits, without one it draws from scratch.
